Snow Peak Tarp Wing Pole 280cm/9.2ft. - Aluminum

Designed in Japan, the Wing Pole 280cm Aluminum is made of 1.5 mm thick aluminum. Use the Wing Pole 280cm Aluminum for setting up tarps and shelters. The Wing Pole features a rough tip to hold tarp grommets, a rubber end base and easily breaks down into four shorter pieces for compact storage.

At Cirq, we like this pole because it is longer than most tarp poles on the market. This allows for an elevated pitch, as well as the option to extend a longer guy line out behind a tent such that the tent 'opens' into the tarped area. Generally, we'll pair one or two of the longer 280cm poles on the center line of the tarp pitch and use shorter poles for the sides/additional anchor points.
